The Indian Premier League along with the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy has managed to produce several talented youngsters who can be the face of the Indian cricket in the coming years.

Here is a list of uncapped Indian players who might get a chance to play in the Indian Team in 2022:

1) Abhimanyu Easwaran

There has always been a heavy competition in the opening slot for team India. The duo of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are the two preferred options for Team India in white ball format.

However, consistent injury problems has forced the team to look for other backup options. Abhimanyu Easwaran of Bengal is one of the leading contenders to open the innings in the future.

Easwaran has been under the scanner of the selectors for a long time now. He was one of the standby players in the test series against England and also in the WTC finals.

In 64 first class games, Easwaran 2875 runs at an average of 43.57. The 26-year-old also has 13 tons to his name.

2) Shahrukh Khan

The 26-year-old proved his mettle and impressed everyone all around the globe with his hard-hitting skills in the game against CSK in the 14th edition of IPL. Shahrukh scored 47 off 36 in that game which was enough to prove his worth in the biggest stage of all.

Shahrukh Khan can potentially solve the problem India has in the lower order. He can play as a finisher in the limited overs cricket.

Recently Shahrukh Khan helped his side Tamil Nadu defend the title by scoring a last ball six. Shahrukh will also enter the 2022 IPL mega auctions.

3) Abdul Samad

The young Jammu Kashmir born cricketer is known for his explosive strike rate. The 20-year-old has a strike rate of 146.05. Abdul Samad is also a part time bowler and which might help the team when needed.

Abdul Samad was recently named as the vice-captain of Jammu and Kashmir. He was retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the 2022 mega auctions.

4) Riyan Parag

Riyan Parag has already left his mark in the Indian Premier League having played for only two seasons now. The 20-year-old is renowned for his hard-hitting skills and also has the ability to bowl.

Riyan is the leading run getter for Assam in the 2018-19 edition of Vijay Hazare Trophy. Riyan is also the youngest cricketer to score a fifty in the cash rich league. He also has a IPL wicket to his name.

With all the potential, Riyan might be the next big name in Indian cricket.

5) Avesh Khan

The Indore based cricketer is one of the best things India have got from the cash rich league. Avesh Khan is known for continuously bowling at 140+ kmph. The 25-year-old became the second highest wicket taker with 24 wickets in the 2021 edition of IPL.

The speedster has about 100 wickets to his name in First class cricket in just 47 innings.

6) Kartik Tyagi

The 21-year-old came into limelight after defending just four runs in the final over against PBKS in the IPL. It just took six perfect deliveries to get the attention of the selectors.

Kartik was a part of the U-19 team that played the World Cup. Kartik Tyagi has been in the cash rich league for a number of seasons now. He has played 14 matches so far in which he has picked up 13 wickets.

The 20-year-old has previously toured to Australia as a reserve bowler.

7) Ravi Bishnoi

The 21-year-old has impressed the selectors every time he comes to bowl in the IPL. In just 9 games he has picked about 12 wickets for PBKS at an economy of 6.43. Besides his excellence with the leather, Bishnoi is excellent in the outfield which gives him an extra over other players in the team.

8) Arshdeep Singh

Left arm seamer Arshdeep Singh has impressed many with his wide range of skillsets. He can bowl a wide yorker, a yorker, slower deliveries and bouncers as well.

Arshdeep has about 18 wickets to his name in 12 matches so far at an economy of just more than 8.

He has played under Rahul Dravid during his U-19 World Cup days. Dravid became the head coach of team India replacing Ravi Shastri.

9) R Sai Kishore

The Tamil Nadu based left arm spinner is one of best spinners in the domestic cricket currently. Kishore is known specially for his economy. In his 4-year career he has picked up about 48 wickets at an economy of 2.68 in first class cricket. He has about 52 wickets to his name in List A.

10) Ishan Porel

The young fast bowler from Bengal has come a long way since his U-19 days. Injuries has affected his career but still the 23-year-old holds some amazing records with the India A team.

The 23-year-old has picked up 53 wickets in 20 first class games.
