That is because despite giving Andre Russell 12 Crores, 16 Crores will be deducted from their purse as KKR bought 4 players and the assigned amount for the first retained player is 16 Crore. - Rahul Tripathi – After Venkatesh Iyer, Rahul Tripathi had been the best batsman in the KKR team last season. It was due to his heroics that KKR qualified for the finals of IPL 2021. Given how underrated the player is, KKR can get him back pretty easily if they try.
- Shivam Mavi – An injury scare prevented Shivam Mavi from impressing in IPL 2021 but he was terrific in the few matches that he played. Mavi is one of the hidden gems of Indian cricket one one of the most loved by KKR. They will definitely try to get their boy back.
