Aakash Chopra is a former Indian cricketer who played for India from 2003-2004. Chopra is currently a commentator. Over the last few years, Aakash Chopra has slowly emerged as one of the top broadcasters in the Indian cricket media industry. Chopra runs a YouTube channel and is hyper active on social media.
His columns appear regularly on Cricinfo and Mid-Day. Chopra is currently with Star Sports, ESPN and Sony as a cricket commentator and an analyst. In 2020, Aakash Chopra signed as a commentator with popular mobile cricket game World Cricket Championship to lend his voice for the upcoming WCC3 game. He was the first commentator to sign as commentator with a digital game platform.
Recently on Twitter a Pakistani fan asked Aakash Chopra to stop talking about the Indian Premier League after the conclusion of the season. He asked Chopra to talk about the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup which is scheduled to begin from 23rd October in UAE.
