Babar Azam calls THIS teammate Pakistan’s Rahul Dravid: Fans react

Rahul Dravid was one of the greatest batsman that India ever produced. He was considered as the “wall” of his team, for his unbreakable patience and dedication towards the game.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam recently confessed his thoughts about his fellow teammate in an interview. He said that he considers him as Pakistan’s Rahul Dravid.

The 20-year-old player recently delivered astonishing results in the Test series between Pakistan and Australia. He scored a century and two fifties in the three-match series in total 547 runs in five matches. Impressed by the youngster’s dedication in Test cricket, Babar likes what he sees of Abdullah Shafique.

Babar Azam on Abdullah Shafique –

“I personally watch and definitely enjoy Abdullah’s stylish batting. He plays very clean, his stance and the way he ducks the ball are impressive. Usually, we compare him to Kane Williamson and Rahul Dravid. We call him Dravid” Babar told Dawn News. “In the presence of Abdullah, the place of opener Shan Masood, another polished batter, may be in doubt but our main aim in selecting an individual is the team’s interest”.

Shafique made his debut last year in November against Bangladesh. He scored 52 and 73 in Chattogram.

Pakistan is looking forward to playing against West Indies in a three-match ODI series. The series will take place in Pakistan. Matches in the series are on June 8, 10 & 12 respectively.
