Big blow to KKR! Star Player ruled out for rest of IPL 2022

2 times champions, Kolkata Knight Riders started off the IPL with a bang defeating CSK in the opening game of the season. KKR who got their new captain Shreyas Iyer has been seen leading the team pretty well. But in recent matches the KKR skipper has been hugely trolled for making so many changes in the team.

The team has dropped some of their marquee players such as Venkatesh Iyer, Pat Cummins and Varun Chakraborty. Kolkata after 5 consecutive losses got a much needed win in the last match against Rajasthan Royals. Though they won the match by a large margin they are still placed at no. 7 in the points table. They have only 10 points so far.

Kolkata have now suffered another loss in the form of Pat Cummins as he was ruled out for the rest of the IPL due to a hip injury which came while playing against Mumbai. Though in the match vs Mumbai he was only the person who took the team to victory but also had to suffer a minor injury. The Australian pacer left the bio bubble and is taking his required treatment to be fit for the upcoming test series against Sri Lanka.

Cummins has been the captain of the men in yellow in the longest format of the game
