Netizens are just loving the on-field battle between India’s Jasprit Bumrah and South Africa’s Marco Jansen. The two pacers have been in tremendous form in the ongoing test series between India and South Africa and are arguably the best bowlers of their respective sides. The two have already been involved in two heated arguments during the series and we can wait for what the rivalry has in stock in the rest of the series.
There was a mid-pitch confrontation between the two today as well during India’s second innings of the second test on Day 3.
India’s wickets fell pretty quickly after the departure of Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara and everyone except Hanuma Vihari gave away their wickets pretty cheaply.
As a result it was not too long before Jasprit Bumrah had to come in to bat. The Indian tailender was excellent with the bat in the first innings and he seemed to continue that form today as well.
He was looking in great touch and soon after arriving he was involved in a tussle with Marco Jansen as mentioned earlier. Umpire Marais Erasmus had to finally separate for the fight and ease out the situation.
Bumrah got the perfect revenge though as he hit a huge six off Kagiso Rabada in the very next over before departing.
