Candice Warner reacts to his video of Hammering the pitch in Karachi

The second test between Australia and Pakistan ended in a draw after a thrilling encounter of 5 days. Till day 4, it was looking clear that Australia would surely seal the victory but the Paks showed unbelievable grit on the last day and secured a draw. This shows exactly how strong this Pakistan side are on their home ground.

Australia won the toss and opted to bat first on Day 1. They scored a massive first innings total of 556/9 (declared) and kept Pakistan under pressure from the very beginning of the match. Pakistan succumbed to the pressure and their entire batting lineup fell down after a mere total of just 148 runs in their first innings.

However, Australia did the unbelievable in the second innings. They declared for just 97 runs with a lead of 506 runs and thought that they would easily pick up all the wickets of Pakistan in the last two days. This was a big mistake on their part and captain Pat Cummins has been subjected to a wide range of criticism for this choice.

Pakistan completely turned the tables in their second innings and ended up scoring 443/7. They needed just 63 runs more to win but the Umpire called the day off and Australia was saved. Had Pakistan won the match, it would be one of their biggest victories in the recent past and captain Par Cummins would be completely obliterated by the critiques as his decision to declare was clearly not given proper thought.

During Pakistan’s second innings, however, we saw a hilarious moment that made the fans laugh a lot. Usually the groundsmen come to hammer the field when the pitch gets uneven. However, Australian captain Pat Cummins took turns to help the Groundsmen and decided to hammer the ground themselves. A video of David Warner hammering the pitch went viral in no time on twitter and now his wife Candice Warner has replied to that video.

She quote retweeted the video and wrote: “ I wish @davidwarner31would do this a little bit more around the house!!”

Fans loved the witty humour of Mrs Warner and the tweet has already gained over 42K likes on twitter.
