Chetan Sakariya makes shocking statement on Delhi Capitals management ignoring him

Indian Youngster Chetan Sakariya, who has been one of the leading wicket takers for Rajasthan Royals last season has delivered a shocking statement regarding his selection in the playing 11.

The left hander pacer who debuted for Rajasthan Royals last season has been very impressive with his bowling though earlier this season Rajasthan released him and in the auction he was signed by Delhi Capitals. His stock skyrocketed as three teams went on to bid for him and lastly got the final bid of 4.2 crores from Delhi Capitals.

It was expected that the inform pacer would carry his form in the IPL and would be dreadful for the other batsmen but the same did not happen. The Capitals kept him on the bench for 11 out of the 14 matches that they played. Sakariya played only three games, scalping three wickets.

In an interview with Sportskeeda Cricket, Chetan said,
“Since I wasn’t a part of the playing XI, I began to feel very lonely. I used to have sleepless nights and used to miss my father a lot.”

The statement from Chetan made fans feel pity on him for not getting enough chances to showcase his skills. The left arm pacer has also debuted for India last year after having a fantastic season last year.
