Cricket South Africa insult Faf Du Plessis and Imran Tahir ! Dale Steyn’s reply is epic

There is everything wrong with Cricket South Africa. Inside Politics and all sorts of other reasons have already forced some of the legends of South African cricket, namely AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla, Imran Tahir and even their former captain Faf du Plessis out of their squad. Situations have worsened so far that these legends are being downright disrespected by the South African cricket board itself.



Chennai Super Kings made quite a record by winning their 4th IPL title last night by defeating Kolkata Knight Riders in the final of IPL 2021. It was a complete team effort but the 80+ runs knock of Faf Du Plessis needs to be particularly praised and it rightfully was as he received the Man of the Match award in the post match presentation. He was just 3 runs short of winning the Orange Cap award which was ultimately won by his very own teammate and opening partner Ruturaj Gaikwad. But that didn’t matter much as Chennai Super Kings did the job of winning the trophy.

Faf’s spirits were high after winning the trophy but that was marred by a particular post by the South Africa board. “Congratulations Lungi Ngidi on claiming the 2021 IPL title with Chennai Super Kings” – Cricket South Africa posted a photo of Lungi Ngidi. They totally missed out Imran Tahir and Faf Du Plessis who were epitome parts of the CSK team. Lungi Ngidi did not even play a single match this season on the other hand.

The post got noticed by Faf Du Plessis who replied “Really?”. It got widespread backlash from cricket fans across the world and the admin had to delete the post after a few minutes. Here’s what Dale Steyn replied to the post:
