After Australia’s 7 wicket victory against Sri Lanka on Thursday, explosive opening batsmen David Warner seems to have rediscovered his rhythm as he played a match winning knock of 65 off 42 deliveries. David Warner’s impactful innings took the Aussies to their second straight victory of the tournament.
Just like Euro 2020, beverage brand Coca Cola is the sponsor of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup. The beverage company is one of the biggest sponsors of the tournament. Coca Cola has tied a 5-year deal with ICC. The company is ICC’s exclusive non-alcoholic beverage partner until 2023 as per the current contract. As usual, the bottles of the beverage company are put onto the table where players come out to speak to the media.
David Warner asked a member of support staff if he can remove the Coca Cola bottles. He said: “Can I remove this?”.
However, Warner was asked to put them back in the position. He said: “If it is good for Cristiano, it’s good enough for me.”
