Dinesh Karthik picks his Top 3 Uncapped Indian Players in IPL 2022

Indian Wicketkeeper batsman, Dinesh Karthik names his 3 Indian uncapped players who impressed this season. The Tamil Nadu born cricketer had been a part of the 2007 T20 World Cup win. He also gained a lot of appreciation recently after his fabulous cameo in the Nidahas trophy where he snatched the victory from Bangladesh in the finals. The Wicketkeeper batsman was ruled of of the Indian team after his poor outings in the 2019 World Cup and was seen in the commentary box.

Though getting sacked from KKR, Kartik got bid by Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2022 auction and this season he has been fabulous with the bat. His finishing abilities have been in a great use this season for RCB.

The Wicketkeeper batsman was asked to pick 3 Indian uncapped players who managed to impress him the most so far in the ongoing season of the IPL. He picked some exciting names and Surprisingly, All three are left-arm pacers.

“I have been impressed by Arshdeep Singh because he has been so good at the death, I think he has bowled some lovely yorkers and has a lot of control,” said Karthik.

“Yash Dayal has been a terrific find. He has been able to move the ball both ways with the new ball and I enjoy that about him” He added.


He concluded by saying “Mohsin Khan got picked late in the tournament but he is making sure when he bowls, the heavy ball that he bowls … he has bowled some brilliant spells.”

These three pacers have been very good for their team. The PBKS pacer is playing his third season of the IPL. While The other two are featured in their maiden season of the league.
