Faf du Plessis comes up with an appreciation post for DK after his selection in India squad

Veteran Indian Wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik has been recalled for the national team after his blistering performance in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2022. Karthik who was dropped from the team after his poor form in 2019 ICC cricket World Cup is back in the team for the upcoming series against South Africa. After the announcement Dinesh Karthik posted saying belief is the key success. Even RCB skipper Faf du plessis congratulated karthik for his comeback to the Indian team.

The Wicketkeeper batsman was earlier bought by RCB in the IPL auction and became the X factor for them. His wonderful performances in this IPL season made him the favorites. Karthik has scored 287 runs for RCB at a strike rate of 160 and also helped RCB to win some crucial matches helping them to qualify for the playoffs.

RCB Skipper Faf du plessis shared a story in his Instagram handle with a picture of Dinesh Karthik from Nidahas trophy with a note saying,” Congrats brother, so well deserved. Great man and an unbelievable finisher”.

Though going to 37 Dinesh Karthik was supported by many former cricketers and experts because he is in a terrific form and is quite possible for him to deliver for the team.

In a video shared by RCB talking about his selection, Dinesh Karthik said, “Very happy, very, very satisfying must say that this has been probably my most special comeback because a lot of people had given up on me. For me to come back and do what I did, practise the way I did with my coach (Abhishek) Nayar, things that have happened in the lead-up to the auction, and how I practiced post that a lot of credit also to (RCB head coach) Sanjay Bangar and (RCB director of cricket operations) Mike Hesson.”
