Irfan Pathan and his wife Safa have been blessed with a baby boy.
Irfan took it to twitter to make the announcement. Irfan revealed the name of his child and said his wife and his child are safe and healthy.
“Safa and me welcome our baby boy SULEIMAN KHAN. Both baby and mother are fine and healthy. #Blessings”, Irfan tweeted as he shared the first picture of the baby.
Irfan Pathan has another son named Imran Khan Pathan who was born on December 20, 2016. Irfan has been often seen sharing pictures of him along with his son on social media.
Irfan got married to a Hyderabad based model-Safa Baig on February 4, 2016 in Mecca.
Irfan has been recently named as the ambassador of famous football club Mohammedan Sporting SC. The football club announced the news on social media saying: “With immense pleasure and pride, Bunker Hill Sports announces Irfan Pathan as the new Brand Ambassador of Mohammedan Sporting Club Official.”
Irfan Pathan has played 29 Tests, 120 ODIs and 24 T20Is for Team India. The left arm seamer has also picked up 100 wickets in red ball format. He has scalped 173 wickets in ODI cricket and has 28 wickets to his name in the shortest format of the game.
With the willow, the 37-year-old has smashed 1105 runs in test cricket at an average of 31.57. He has managed to score 1544 in ODI cricket and 172 runs in T20Is.
Irfan Pathan was a part of team which won the T20 World Cup in 2007.
Irfan played his last match for team India in 2012. Nowadays, Irfan has been in the commentary box. He is quite busy as a cricket pundit these days, offering his analysis in team India’s matches and in IPL.
