The former Indian and RCB skipper, Virat Kohli has been in news for his current form. Virat Kohli who is going through his worst phase with the bat in hand has managed to score just one half-century this season. IPL 2022 had been a rough patch for Virat Kohli as he had only scored 128 runs so far in 9 matches with an average of 12 and strike rate of nearly 120. The highest IPL run scorer has been seen struggling with his form for nearly 3 years as The Run Machine Kohli failed to deliver a single hundred in all these time.
The form of the former skipper has been disappointing for his team as well as for fans. He hardly managed to contribute to his team’s success. Virat got out on golden duck in two consecutive matches this season.
Lot of talks among experts have been going around about Kohli’s poor form these years. Former Indian pacer, RP Singh has made a big statement while having a chat with cricbuzz. The left-arm pacer suggested the management of RCB to drop Virat if he remains cold with the bat in the next couple of games. The former pacer believes that Virat is nowhere near to finding his old form back so it’s better to move past him until the time he gets back his form. Singh believes he is capable of finding the loopholes within him and work on those in these resting times to get a comeback.
Singh said “The team management is trying, and he is trying as well. But he is miles away from form at the moment. You can call it rest.. because if he plays one or two more games and doesn’t perform.
You will have to think about resting anyway. So, they need to give him a break, maybe that will help him get back to run-scoring. Maybe he is overloaded with thoughts about scoring runs right now.”
Virat Kohli being one of the greats of recent times had set high bars in fan following too. Among all these comments fans kept their support on for Virat in his worst phase too and are very much hopeful of Virat getting his form back soon.
