After Virat Kohli stepping down as the captain of T20 internationals BCCI removed him from the Odi captaincy as well. Then during the South African tour Virat stepped down as the captain of test format as well.

Robbie has backed Jasprit Bumrah to be the test captain and one among Rishabh Pant or Kl Rahul to be the captain of T20I and Odi respectively.
