Team India and New Zealand are currently squaring off against each other at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in the second T20 of the ongoing series between them. The Blues have already won the first match and have obtained a 1-0 lead. In this match too, they have dominated the blackcaps all throughout and have been the better side so far.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma has made some significant changes in the Playing XI for today’s match and they include Harshal Patel coming in as a replacement for Mohammad Siraj who has a web split and the addition of Ruturaj Gaikwad. This is Harshal Patel’s debut for the Indian national team and this marks him on the list of some of the oldest players to make their debuts for team India.

It was quite an outstanding debut as he picked up the big wicket of New Zealand’s in-form batsman Daryl Mitchel. Harshal Patel has a heckload of variations in his arsenal and he used on to dismiss Mitchell who hit one towards the long off, only to be caught by Suryakumar Yadav comfortably.
His reaction showed how much it meant to him as it was a sigh of relief and happiness. Rohit Sharma also celebrated his first wicket.
