Imam-ul-Haq trolls Australia in his celebration after completing his Century

The first match of the historic Test series between Pakistan and Australia which is being played at Pakistan’s home turf has finished in a draw. Pakistan scored 476/4 (declared) in the first innings which was met by an equally good 459 by Australia. Pakistan scored 252/0 in their second innings and that ended the 5-day mark and both the teams had to be contented with a draw. The player who impressed the most in the first test is undoubtedly Pakistan’s Imam-ul-Haq who scored twin centuries in the first test match.

Pakistani opener Imam-ul-Haq scored 157 runs off 358 deliveries in the first innings and helped Pakistan reach a very massive first innings score. In the second innings, he was even better and scored an unbeaten 111* off 223 deliveries. In the second innings, his knock was complemented by his opening partner Abdullah Shafique who scored 136 off 242 deliveries.

During the second innings, however, Australia missed a golden opportunity to dismiss Imam-ul-Haq very early on in the game. On a particular delivery, there was a huge shout by the Australian team for out. The Umpire said that it was not out and the Aussies decided not to review. Well, it was a big blunder on their part as had they reviewed it, the umpire would’ve had to change his decision as the footage on the Giant screen later revealed that it was indeed out. Imam-ul-Haq thus got saved on that occasion.

Later on, when he was very close to his century, Australia made another appeal that the Umpire neglected. This time Australian captain Pat Cummins reviewed his decision only to lose the review. Imam-ul-Haq went on to score his century from there and he trolled Australia’s poor reviewing in the celebration which made the Pakistan captain Babar Azam laugh very much. Here’s the video:
