The 33rd match of the Indian Premier League 2022 between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings has so far turned out to be a match worth watching. The two biggest rivals of IPL history did not let down the fans who expected a stellar performance and they have been entertained fully. Although it has been a neck to neck match all throughout, Chennai Super Kings seem to have an advantage in the match so far and they might end up winning the match. However, if they do so, it will be courtesy of a brilliant performance by the bowlers of CSK, especially Mukesh Choudhary.
The young CSK bowler was simply on fire tonight. He was the best performer by far in the first innings and he ended up picking as many as three wickets. However his best ball was the one with which he cleaned up Mumbai Indians’ in form batsman Ishan Kishan. It was a perfect Yorker aimed at the off stump and Ishan Kishan totally misread it. Well we can’t blame him much as it was more of an unplayable delivery and the batsman cannot be blamed.
Mukesh Choudhary picked up the three most important wickets of Mumbai Indians tonight and totally demolished their batting line-up. He picked up the wickets of Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma and Dewald Brevis who are by far the best batters of the Indian Premier League and today’s performance of Chowdhary will be remembered for times to come.
