Jimmy Neesham jokes about retiring from cricket on Instagram

Rajasthan Royals have had a great outing in the Indian Premier League so far this season. They are seated comfortably at the Fifth position on the points table having won 2 of their three matches so far and they are being considered to be one of the best teams this season in the tournament. Yes they did suffer a disappointing loss against Royal Challengers Bangalore lately in their latest match but that does not change the fact that they are one of the favourites to win the IPL 2022.

Jimmy Neesham is one of the players who are currently in the Rajasthan Royals squad but has not been tested at all. He is an asset for any team that he plays in as his intent to perform well can be elemental in their wins. Jimmy Neesham gave an extraordinary performance in the recently concluded 2021 T20 World Cup as well and he took his team to the finals of the tournament. He is one of the keymost players of the New Zealand starting lineup currently and is a great T20I player.

As we know, Neesham is very active on social media, especially on Twitter and Instagram. Today is posted a surprise Instagram story where he joked about retiring and surprised the fans. However he revealed his joke on the next slide.

Jimmy Neesham wrote on his story “I would hereby like to announce his retirement from…”

And in the next slide he posted a video of Riyan Parag hitting him for a lethal shot that went straight past his head and he wrote “Bowling Riyan Parag in the nets 🥴”
