Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday spookily trolled MS Dhoni when they shared a picture of the ongoing Ashes series.
The hosts have taken a 3-0 lead in the Ashes series. England have somehow drawn the fourth Ashes test at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Stuart Broad and James Anderson survived the final two balls as Australia required only one wicket to win when Jack Leach was dismissed.
The visitors required 358 runs when they came out to bat in the final day of the test match. England were attempting to save the test match right from the start of the day. Steve Smith finally succeded in doing that in the 100th over when Leach edged a delivery and David Warner who was standing in the first slip caught it with ease.
The fielding position was similar to which Kolkata Knight Riders had once set up against MS Dhoni during his two-year stint at Rising Pune Super giants. The incident took place when RPS were put to bat first at Eden Gardens in the 2016 edition of IPL. RPS ran into some trouble when they lost four wickets for 74 runs within 11 overs. Piyush Chawla attempting to put MS Dhoni in pressure by setting up a similar field against him.
Kolkata Knight Riders tried to roast the legendary Indian captain when they shared the same picture from their official Twitter handle. They captioned the post as, “That moment when a classic move in test cricket actually reminds you of a t20 masterstroke.
