Kuldeep Yadav’s childhood coach slams Virat Kohli for this Unbelievable reason!

Indian chinaman Kuldeep Yadav’s childhood coach slams Virat Kohli for preferring Axar Patel over Kuldeep. Kapil Dev Pandey, Kuldeep’s childhood coach, expected Kohli to go for Kuldeep as he had made wonders in the field earlier.

Virat Kohli, in his reign of captaincy went ahead with Axar because of his batting abilities. In the meantime Kuldeep was dropped from the team which resulted in his downfall.

Kuldeep, who got very less matches to play at that time was dropped from KKR too. The chinaman faced some harsh situations in the past few years because he hardly got a chance to play.

In 2022, Kuldeep made a great comeback while playing for DC in the IPL. Kuldeep was bought at his base price of 2 cr by DC in the auction. The chinaman then turned things around and is currently the second highest wicket taker of the ongoing IPL season. Kuldeep now has 18 wickets in all the 10 games he featured. He also broke the record of becoming the most number of man of the match for a team in a single season. He made a sensational comeback in the ongoing season.

Looking into Kuldeep’s comeback, his childhood coach made statements stating the reasons for Kuldeep’s downfall. He started by appreciating Rohit’s captaincy which made the wrist spinner come back to his original form.

During an interview with TimesofIndia.com Kapil Dev Pandey stated “Kuldeep played a lot of cricket under Virat. Virat wants experience in the side. He went with Ashwin and Jadeja. He preferred Axar ahead of Kuldeep because of Axar’s batting capabilities. A captain has to trust his players,”.

“Rohit kept a close eye on Kuldeep, his Yo-Yo Test and rehab reports. He was impressed with Kuldeep’s rehab programme. Rohit should be credited for Kuldeep’s comeback,” he added.
