India have never won a test series in SA. The Men in Blue have played 9 test series in SA in which they have won only three test matches. Hence, the team will be looking to create history on the Proteas soil.

However, the Indian team has become stronger than ever now and the South African team has gone weaker than it was before. Therefore, it will be a perfect opportunity for Virat Kohli and co to register a series win on foreign soil.

Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant and Mohammad Shami have already shared pictures after landing in the Rainbow Nation. And now its Indian opener Mayank Agarwal.

The Karnataka based player shared a picture from his official Instagram handle where has been seen enjoying a bonfire just outside his hotel room.

Mayank was seen standing in the lush green hotel compound in front of the bonfire.

Mayank captioned the post as, “Bonfire 🔥”.

The Men in Blue will stay in the same hotel to play the next test in Wanderers in Johannesburg before moving to Cape Town for the third test.

Despite the emergence of the newly mutated variant of Covid-19 named ‘Omicron’ in the African Nation, Team India will be spending just one day quarantine. The team has already been tested on their arrival and will be leaving the quarantine once the negative results are out.
