Moeen Ali set to miss CSK’s first match due to a Terrible reason

In the most intriguing news of the day, English all-rounder Moeen Ali who is a part of the Chennai Super Kings squad will be missing the first match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders on 26th March at the Wankhede Stadium which will also be the opening match of IPL 2022 due to the most unforeseen reason.

According to reports, Moeen Ali is having some complications getting his Visa and thus he will probably be too late to play the first match of CSK. He submitted the application 20 days ago but he has not received the paperwork yet. He will be taking the next flight as soon as he gets his Visa. In fact, CSK’s owner Kasi Viswanathan confirmed this news and gave a statement regarding this.

“He had applied for his visa on February 28. It has been more than 20 days since the application was submitted. He has been a frequent traveller to India and yet he has not got the travel papers. We are hoping he will join the team soon. He has told us that he will take the very next flight after getting the papers, Even the BCCI has got itself involved to help us. We are hoping that he will get the papers by Monday,” Kasi Viswanathan said.

Moeen Ali was retained by CSK ahead of the IPL 2022 season for 8 Crores and is one of their most important players. The CSK management will hope that he joins them as soon as possible.
