Rizwan is the third highest run getter of the tournament so far. Rizwan and Babar have been one of the most destructive opening pairs in the tournament.

Shoaib Malik has been an important player for Pakistan in finishing the innings along with Asif Ali. In the game against Scotland, Malik scored the joint fastest half century of the tournament, which is also the fastest half century by a Pakistani in any T20I match.

Malik smashed an 18 ball 50. Malik currently holds a strike rate of 187 in the tournament so far. Malik has been an important asset for Pakistan in the middle order. He has shown his abilities in the chase against New Zealand and Afghanistan.

Pakistan have other options to explore in need. They can bring in former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed in for Mohammad Rizwan. Haider Ali can step in for Shoaib Malik. Fakhar Zaman can open the innings with Babar Azam in this situation.

The fans will be hoping that it is nothing series as both of them have been an integral part of the squad.
