Mumbai Indians set to add this IPL Commentator to their main Squad – What a comeback!

Mumbai Indians’ campaign in the 2022 Indian Premier League so far has been a huge disappointment and failure. They have not been able to register a single win in the tournament so far and are placed at the very bottom of the table. This is very uncharacteristic of Mumbai Indians who have the highest number of IPL trophies in the history of the competition. One more reason why this looks very shocking is that the IPL 2022 is being held almost fully in Mumbai which is the home city of Mumbai Indians and thus they were very expected to get an unfair advantage in IPL 2022. However, we have witnessed the exact opposite of this so far in the tournament.

There is a very simple reason for this. Although Mumbai Indians are playing most of their matches in their home ground, they have a completely new team this season after the reshuffle of the Mega Auction. Apart from Jasprit Bumrah, MI only retained and bought back Batters from their former team and thus they do not have a single star bowler apart from Bumrah who has the experience of bowling in Mumbai.

Thus captain Rohit Sharma has decided to take an unconventional decision. According to reports, he has decided to bring back Dhawal Kulkarni to the Mumbai Indians team. Kulkarni was a part of the MI squad for a very long time but there is a big problem in bringing him back. For the unknown, Dhawal Kulkarni has started working as a part time commentator for Star Sports India.

However, Rohit Sharma thinks that Dhawal Kulkarni’s experience in Mumbai’s conditions will work as a blessing in disguise for them and thus he has wanted to bring him back. According to reports, the MI management has started contacting the bowler and we might get an update soon.
