Shoaib Malik is a top-class cricketer and has several match winning knocks while playing for the Men in Green. We should not forget that Malik is near to his retirement from international cricket. He has already hanged his gloves in ODIs and Tests and only plays T20Is now.

Batting first, Pakistan had put up a total of 176/4 on the board after 20 overs of play. Mohammad Rizwan played a brilliant knock of 67 off 52 deliveries. Fakhar Zaman who was silent throughout the tournament hammered 55 runs in the end to help reach Pakistan to this total.

Australia had a horrible start to the innings as they lost their skipper for a first ball duck. But David Warner and Mitchell Marsh carried the innings forward and kept the scoreboard moving. In the end Matthew Wade’s 41 run cameo off 17 deliveries helped Australia chase the target with an over to spare.
