The Pakistan cricket team is currently playing a very serious and thrilling semi-final match against Australia but their official social media team is out making blunders.
So what exactly happened? So Babar Azam made a sensational record today by scoring 2500 T20 runs in a time span faster than the likes of Virat Kohli, Martin Guptill and Aaron Finch. It is truly quite a commendable feat to achieve as breaking the record of Virat Kohli is not so easy. However, Pakistan’s social media team has turned it into a laughing stock by posting statistics with a very silly mistake. They posted a stat that compared Babar Azam’s T20 record to that of Chetteshwar Pujara, Sunil Gavaskar and Sourav Ganguly. Fun part is, most of the players on the list haven’t even played T20 cricket for India !
The fans were quick to screenshot it and post it on all the social media platforms and Pakistan Cricket started getting trolled. And that for such a silly error!
They were however quick to delete the post and then they posted the correct stat which compared Babar to Virat Kohli, Aaron Finch and Martin Guptil but by then the damage was done and now memes are being made on the incident.
