Rahul Dravid reveals why Virat Kohli is not attending Press conferences

Team India registered an emphatic win over South Africa at Centurion in the first test of their ongoing series and with this, they have broken many records. Indian skipper Virat Kohli is now just two wins away from becoming the 3rd most successful test captain of all time by overtaking Australia’s Glen McGrath which is undoubtedly a big feat to achieve.

Irrespective of India’s brilliant form, the tension between BCCI and Virat Kohli over the captaincy conundrum still exists and the fans have all types of speculations regarding the same. The Indian skipper is also missing all of the Press Conferences after his previous comment on the captaincy debate created so much controversy. Indian captain Rahul Dravid and vice captain KL Rahul are attending the press conferences in his stead.

Until today, fans had been thinking that Virat Kohli had been missing the press conferences due to all that controversy but Rahul Dravid finally shed light on the incident today and he revealed the full truth. The head coach insisted that the actual reason for Kohli missing out on the press conferences is much more simple.

Rahul Dravid said, ” I don’t decide on who will attend PC. Media manager decided and I remember he telling me that Virat is going to attend the PC for the Cape Town Test which will also be his 100th Test, a big milestone. So you guys (journalists) will get good time to talk to him on that day.”
