Ravi Shastri makes a big statement about Hardik Pandya ahead of T20 World Cup

The Indian team is going from IPL mode to T20 international mode very soon. After months of battle between the teams the IPL fever is over now.

India is now going to play against South Africa in a five match T20 series. The South African players have already arrived in India.

The Indian team performed below average as they failed to make the cut into the semi-finals. But the men in blue are determined to give their best in the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.

This series will be a very crucial series for India. The management can experiment on the team combination to get the best out of everyone.

On the other hand, The former coach Ravi Shastri suggested that Hardik Pandya shouldn’t play any ODI cricket. Hardik Pandya, recently won the title of IPL22, and did an excellent job as a captain of Gujarat Titans.

Ravi Shastri said, “He will walk back into that squad for me either as a batter or as an all-rounder. I don’t think he is that badly injured where he cannot bowl you two overs.

He has had ample rest and he will continue to have ample rest because that’s the only format he should play going into the World Cup. They shouldn’t take the risk of making him play ODI cricket.”
