BCCI posted a hilarious picture of Axar Patel, Ajaz Patel, Rachin Ravindra and Ravindra Jadeja after the conclusion of Mumbai test on Monday.
Team India thrashed the visitors registering a 325-run win at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Virat Kohli and co finished the game early on Day 4 as the Kiwis were bowled out for 167 runs while chasing a mammoth target of 540. India won the home series convincingly by 1-0 and regained their position at the top of the WTC table.
This is team India’s biggest test win in terms of runs. Although this test will be remembered for multiple reasons but Ravichandran Ashwin has given the fans some delight by clicking a photo which happens to be the best pic of the game.
Ravi Ashwin clicked a picture wherein all-rounder Axar Patel, Ajaz Patel, Rachin Ravindra and Ravindra Jadeja are standing with their backs showing their names on their jerseys. The image was clicked in such a manner that the names of Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja are portrayed when all the four players are standing side by side. The interesting fact is all the four players out there have some common first or last name with each other. The picture has gone viral in the net and fans are just loving it.
Earlier, left arm spinner Ajaz Patel picked up all ten wickets in an innings and joined the Perfect 10 club along with Anil Kumble and Jim Laker. He took a total of 14 wickets in the game and broke Ian Botham’s 41-year-old record. Ajaz is born in Mumbai and has played a lot of cricket here before settling in New Zealand.
Rachin Ravindra on the other hand is born to Indian parents Ravi Krishnamurthy and Deepa Krishnamurthy who moved to New Zealand way back in the 1990s. Rachin Ravindra’s father is a software engineer by profession and also the founder of Hutt Hawks Club in NZ. Rachin Ravindra picked up three wickets in the 2nd innings leaking only 56 runs.
