Ravichandran Ashwin picks up 2 wickets in the same over – What a comeback !

India are currently taking on Australia in a practice match for the upcoming T20 World Cup and it is no less than a thriller. After defeating England pretty convincingly in their first match, Virat Kohli and his men are looking to extend their winning streak against Australia as well. And with what we have observed so far in the match, they can achieve it pretty quick if things go in the right direction.

All thanks to the bowlers of Team India and especially Ravi Ashwin who has just recently made his way back in India’s T20 squad and is now doing wonders for the team. This is perhaps the chance he was waiting so eagerly for and he is now proving the selectors that they were not wrong in adding him to the team.

He acted quickly and picked up two big wickets in the blink of an eye and weakened the Aussie batting lineup with his impact.

First first prey was former Australian vice captain David Warner. That too in the very second over of the match. Praise be given to Virat Kohli as well who decided to send a spinner to bowl right from the beginning. Couldn’t have made a better decision as it worked perfectly.

David Warner was then batting at just 1 run off 6 deliveries when he had to depart for leg before wicket. He wanted to review the decision but the Umpire had to remind him that there are no reviews in practice matches.

He then went on to dismiss Mitchell Marsh on the very last delivery of the same over. Marsh had to depart, being dismissed on a duck on his very first ball.
