RCB’s official Twitter handle changed the colour of their logo into blue

The Royal Challengers Bangalore have had a great season in the Indian Premier League 2022 edition. They are currently 4 in the points table with 16 points beside their name. As per rules of IPL the top 4 teams are going to qualify for the playoffs, but RCB’s qualification still depends on the second last match of the season i.e MI vs DC. Mumbai Indians are going to meet Delhi Capitals today evening from 7 pm at the Wankhede Stadium.

A victory of DC will take them from fifth to fourth since they have a better net run rate and will dethrone RCB from the playoffs. DC would try their best to win the match and RCB was going to pray for Mumbai Indians for their win, as their win will not let DC enter the playoffs.

Ahead of the important clash, RCB as well as their fans have shown full support to Mumbai Indians. Even RCB’s official social media page changed their logo colour from red to blue with a text on the photo reads”#REDTURNSBLUE”.

Earlier RCB wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik also shared an old pic of him in MI jersey. He played for Mumbai back in 2012 and 2013. The 2013 season was a good one for him as he smashed 510 runs and also won the title for MI. “Found this in archives”, wrote Karthik in the caption of the image he shared.

RCB skipper Faf du plessis too joked about their playoff position in the post match presentation of their last match by saying that their qualification depends solely on Mumbai Indians.

“There are a couple of blue hats floating around our dressing room for the next couple of days. I am banking on Rohit to go big,” Faf had said after RCB’s win over Gujarat Titans.

Kohli too added,” we have two more supporters for Mumbai Indians on the 21st, not just two, I think 25 more supporters”.
