There is no doubt in the fact that Rohit Sharma is undoubtedly one of the greatest captains in the Indian Premier League history. He has won 5 trophies in the 15-years history of the league but recently their form has not been so good. They failed to qualify for the playoffs last season and besides that, they have lost all three of their matches in the Indian Premier League 2022 so far and are at the very bottom of the table.
Their loss against Kolkata Knight Riders last night was particularly very humiliating as they conceded 35 runs in a single over against a bowler Pat Cummins and thus lost a winning match in the last moment. Captain Rohit Sharma was visibly very upset after their disappointing performance in last night’s match and he seemed frustrated and angry in the post match conference.
Ahead of the press conference, Rohit Sharma was seen scolding the broadcasting people. He asked them to increase the sound as he couldn’t hear the speaker but some people thought that the way in which he said it was rather rude.
Rohit introspected on their performance in IPL 2022. He said that he knows that MI have made it a habit to lose the first few matches of IPL every season and he wishes to change it. It is not a good sign for a champion team like MI and they need to fix it immediately. He also added that they have lost the last few matches due to poor bowling performance and he also said that they need to build a team in which the teammates can trust each other’s performance blindly, taking a nag at Daniel Sams’ over.
