Mumbai Indians have been off to a terrible start to their IPL 2022 campaign. So far they have played two matches and they have not been able to register a single win to their name in the tournament. The 5-times IPL are visibly struggling in the Indian Premier League 2022 and their captain Rohit Sharma has also failed to perform so far in this season. Their costliest player Ishan Kishan has undoubtedly been their best player so far this season and youngster Tilak Varma has also shown signs of being in a good form. Among the bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah has been the most consistent players in the Mumbai Indians squad.
Talking about the match between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals, RR completely dominated the 5-times champions in yesterday’s match. They were undoubtedly the better side in both batting and bowling. Jos Buttler played a fabulous centurion knock in the match and on the either hand Yuzvendra Chahal wrought havoc with the ball and missed his hat-trick chance due to a dropped catch.
Unfortunately things did not go that well for Mumbai Indians and sadly their captain Rohit Sharma was in the list of MI’s poor performances in yesterday’s match. Rohit Sharma scored just 10 runs in 5 balls in yederday’s match before departing and his early departure was a big blow to their ambitions of winning the match. Rohit was good in the first match but failed to impress in the second match and as a result, Disney+ Hotstar’s official twitter page took a sarcastic dig at the player but Rohit Sharma fans were very offended by the tweet. In fact, some people even said that they would cancel their Disney+ Hotstar subscription for the same reason.
After Rohit Sharma’s dismissal, the twitter page had tweeted: “No-Hit Sharma” intending to joke about the player and this was what offended the fans.
