Rohit Sharma predicts THIS MI player will be a future Team India star soon

The excitement level of the Indian Premier League all around the world has been getting higher day by day. With the formation of two new teams, the Indian uncapped youngsters have got a brilliant stage to prove themselves.

The cricket world saw the two most successful teams, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians lock horns against one another at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. It was a low-run scoring match as the ball was swinging corners in the first 8 overs of both the innings.

Also on the other hand, the unavailability of DRS for a couple of wickets due to a mere power cut.

Daniel Sams bowled very well and he was very fortunate with the ball in hand and got the early wickets for Rohit and his team. Chennai looked devastated after losing five wickets almost within the powerplay.

However, a fighting knock came from Captain Cool MS Dhoni who was the lone man standing till the end until Chennai got bowled out for a mere 97.

But, Mumbai lost four wickets for not many runs on the board courtesy of searing swing from two young seamers Mukesh Choudhary and Simmarjet Singh.



Rohit Sharma said,”Apparently, Young Tilak Verma looked calm and composed in his approach, giving the bowlers the respect they deserve and putting pressure back on bad balls and easy run-scoring opportunities.

He looked a class apart from his counterparts with his insane shot-making ability and more importantly, the mindset and tempo at which he operated. He took the game right till the end and seemed resilient on being unbeaten to sign off with pride.

Rohit Sharma, the all formats Indian Men’s Cricket Team Captain and of course Mumbai Indians Skipper resonated his opinion about this exciting left-handed batter by stating the fact that Tilak could and would be an all-format player for India in times to come.

Mumbai Indians will next play against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on the 17th of May at their home ground, the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
