The Indian Premier League is famous for its cricketers playing the sport. But nowadays the family members of the cricketers have also increased the fandom level of the league. Recently IPL held its Final match at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad which featured two top teams of the season Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals.
Gujarat Titans defeated Rajasthan Royals in the final match to win the title for the first time and that too in their debut season. Rajasthan was seen struggling to score good runs as the bowling unit of GT restricted them at just 130. Gujarat Titans chased the total comfortably.
But before the match, the star cricketer’s wife was seen trolling Star sports India in a hilarious way on social media. Before the IPL bet was on the usual suspects, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, while few others had beat on the likes of KKR and RCB. Very few expected RRan GT to be in the finals. This made RR skipper Sanju Samson’s wife Charulatha Ramesh to have a go at Star Sports India the official broadcasters of TATA IPL. She posted a cartoon of Mumbai and CSK being in the finals race and captioned the same by saying “Saw this animated video showing the race of IPL 2022 on the first day of IPL. And wondered why wasn’t there any pink jersey”.She later posted a picture of the entire RR team and wrote the word Finals and ended with a # named Grateful.
RR lost the finals to GT after qualifying to the finals after 14 years. GT won the trophy having a great season performing impressively well throughout the tournament.
