As you should be knowing by now, Australian cricket legend Shane Warne has passed away today due to a supposed heart attack at the age of 52. He was in his Villa in Thailand with his family and it was there that the incident took place.

“Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived,” the statement reads.

“The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course,” it added.

However, hours after his death, Shane Warne’s latest tweet has gone viral for a surprising reason.

Well, earlier today, former Australia wicketkeeper Rod Marsh had passed away and Shane Warne had tweeted the last message for his former colleague. Little did he know that he would be met with the same unfortunate fate a few hours later.

Warne had written in the tweet: “Sad to hear the news that Rod Marsh has passed. He was a legend of our great game & an inspiration to so many young boys & girls. Rod cared deeply about cricket & gave so much-especially to Australia & England players. Sending lots & lots of love to Ros & the family. RIP mate”

Shane Warne was one of the best players in the history of cricket. More than that, he was arguably the best spin bowler of all time and inspired many youngsters to take up the sport. His untimely demise has shocked and grieved everyone.
