Shikhar Dhawan starts walking off after Rishabh Pant’s phenomenal catch before the Umpire gave his decision – Fans are praising his Sportsmanship

Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings are currently squaring off against each other in the Indian Premier League 2022’s 32nd match and it would be correct to say that the match in concern is over even before it could properly start. Courtesy of a phenomenal display by the Delhi Capitals bowlers in the first innings, Punjab Kings are all down after having made just 115 runs in this is one of the lowest scores of the season and has set a new low in the tournament. Khaleel Ahmed, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav all took a wicket each while Mustafizur Rahman picked up one wicket as well. The entire bowling roster of Delhi Capitals performed well today.

Punjab Kings captain Mayank Agarwal seemed to be in a good touch in the beginning of the innings but after his dismissal, none of the other batsmen apart from Jitesh Sharma could last long on the field. However there was one man who could cause a lot of trouble to Delhi Capitals and that was their very own former player Shikhar Dhawan. Dhawan seemed to be in good touch but after a trick delivery by Lalit Yadav and a phenomenal back of the stumps catch by Rishabh Pant, the opener had to depart.

However he did not protest at all and in fact he started walking straight back to the pavilion even before the Umpire had given him out and fans have praised Shikhar Dhawan for his honesty and Sportsman Spirit.
