Shoaib Akhtar insults Virender Sehwag on Tanmay Bhatt’s show

The political differences and rivalry between the two neighbouring countries of India and Pakistan have prevailed for a long time now. This has led to intense competition between the two nations in every field including Cricket. In Cricket history, India vs Pakistan might be one of the most fierce battles in the world but off the pitch, there is a very friendly bond between the Indian and Pakistani cricketers.

Well, such is the bond between Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar and Indian batsman Virender Sehwag. The two retired cricketers played around the same time and were big rivals on the pitch. Shoaib Akhtar might have been one of the best fast bowlers in the world but he never had it easy against Indian batters like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly.

Virender Sehwag particularly has a very good record against him as a result of their on-field rivalry, they often banter each other off the field as well and that has been going on till now.

There are countless instances when Virender Sehwag trolled Shoaib Akhtar on national television or on the internet. One time, Shoaib Akhtar posted a picture of himself in a black suit. Virender Sehwag trolled him by replying “Order likh. 1 Butter chicken, 2 naa, 1 beer” implying that he looked like a waiter.

Therefore, Shoaib Akhtar was recently seen insulting Sehwag on a Youtube live of famous Comedians Tanmay Bhatt and Zakir Khan. While they were talking about his relation with Virender Sehwag, Shoaib Akhtar said, “Isko toh mai maarunga bahut ek din. However, it was not exactly an insult but rather a friendly banter of sorts.
