Lucknow super giants is the newest addition of IPL 22 and the team is led by Indian vice-captain KL Rahul. Andy Flowers has appointed as the head coach and Gautam Gambhir (former Kolkata knight riders player) has taken the role of the mentor.
The KL Rahul-led side won 5 matches out of 8, and stablished their name in the race of the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the car, which was following the team bus of Lucknow Super Giants met with a road accident. The incident happened when the team were trying to reach at the stadium for today’s match, against Punjab kings, according to several media reports.
The official statement of the franchise: Lucknow Super Giants’ CEO Raghu Iyer, his associate Rachita Berry and Gaurav Arora, Manager for Gautam Gambhir were involved in a minor road accident en route to the venue for tonight’s game. Fortunately, all three are safe and well.
