Shocking! Virat Kohli announces sudden retirement from all formats

In the most shocking news of the day, former Indian Cricket Team captain Virat Kohli has announced that he is retiring from all formats of cricket including IPL. He will be finishing this season with RCB as he is contractually obligated to do so but from the upcoming season,i.e, from IPL 2023 he will not be playing in the tournament and IPL 2022 is going to be his last season with the IPL franchise.

Virat Kohli has been one of the most prolific runscorers of the Indian Cricket Team over the past few years and in fact he has become the second highest run scorer ever for India after the legendary Sachin Tendulkar. Having done so, Virat Kohli has turned himself into an absolute legend in World Cricket and his name comes in the list of the Top 5 Cricketers ever.

Virat Kohli’s decision has come as a shock for everyone including some of his closest friends in the Indian Cricket Team like Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Yuzvendra Chahal. They have not yet reacted to the news but rumour has it that they have had a chat with Virat Kohli as soon as he made the decision official.

Virat Kohli had been on bad terms with the BCCI for quite some time now. After he willingly stepped down from the captaincy of India’s T20I team, he was removed forcibly from the ODI team and then as a protest he stepped down from Test captaincy as well. It might have something to do with his big decision. Virat Kohli informed his decision to his fans via a statement which he posted in his Social media handles.

HAPPY APRIL FOOL’S DAY 😂😂
