Star DC player tests positive for COVID-19 – PBKS vs DC match under concern now

In the most latest news of the hour it has been found out that one of the star players of Delhi Capitals has tested positive for COVID-19 and now the whole team is in a big trouble as this might mean that their next match against Punjab Kings gets postponed which will be a huge blow to both the teams and BCCI as well as the tickets have already been sold. In latest reports it has been discovered that the TV ratings for IPL 2022 have fallen considerably and thus this might be an even bigger blow for the fate of the tournament and BCCI and Delhi Capitals need to take a preventive step soon.

As we all know the players of every franchise is tested regularly following the COVID-19 protocols and it has been found out that in Delhi Capitals’ most recent test whose report came out today, Australian All-rounder Mitchell Marsh tested positive. Marsh played his first match of the season just last day and he was under quarantine for a week after joining the squad upon returning from Australia. It is thus very confusing as to why and how he contracted the virus.

Whatever be the reason Delhi Capitals have not travelled to the MCA Stadium where they were supposed to face Punjab Kings in their next match on 20th April. However, more than 2 days time is still there and DC are waiting for the fresh tests following which they shall be travelling to the stadium or they will take some other necessary steps.
