Star Youngster replaces Saurabh Dubey in SRH squad

On Wednesday, Sunrisers Hyderabad announced the signing of Jharkhand left-arm pacer Sushant Mishra as a replacement for the fast bowler, Saurabh Dubey for the remaining game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The officials declared earlier that Saurav Dubey has suffered a back injury due to which he had been ruled out of the ongoing season.

Sushant Mishra, member of the 2020 U-19 indian cricket team had been picked by SRH. The left-arm Pacer from Ranchi had picked up 7 wickets at an economy of 4.45 with an average of 19.85. His best bowling record remains 3/28.

The left arm pacer had taken 13 wickets with best figures of 5/27 which came in the 2021/22 season of Ranji trophy while playing for Jharkhand against Chattisgarh in Guwahati. He was also part of RCB as a net bowler earlier in the 2020 and 2021 edition.

Sushant Mishra would be now seen in the orange jersey. SRH is currently in the 6th position on points table after they lost their 5th match against DC recently. The Kane Williamson led SRH made an epic comeback after the first couple of matches which they lost and won 5 matches in a streak. But it seems they lost their momentum again as they lost 3 matches in a row.
