Ever since Mr IPL Suresh Raina went unsold in the 2022 IPL Mega Auction, CSK and Raina fans from across the globe have been lamenting about how they will miss him in the CSK team in IPL 2022. Suresh Raina has been one of the core and the most important members of the Chennai Super Kings team from the very first season and his not being part of the team anymore is indeed shocking. However, this is something that the CSK fans will have to move on with.
Although Suresh Raina has not made an official statement or has not had an interview with any media house after not being selected by any IPL team, it is sure that his love for his former side Chennai Super Kings is still intact. It is for this reason that he still follows CSK from all his Social Media accounts and he sometimes also comments on their posts.
He did exactly that a few years ago, commenting on a post on Chennai Super Kings’ official Instagram page. The CSK page posted a picture of Ambati Rayudu in front of a large image of Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni, probably in the CSK headquarters, after the player joined the CSK camp on 4th March. The put the caption: “Amba-ck in the house of Yellove! PS: Friendship is in the frame! @djbravo47 @a.t.rayudu”
It was below this post that Suresh Raina commented “Legend” followed by a heart and kudos emoji. Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu have been long time teammates both in the Chennai Super Kings squad and in the Indian Senior Team squad. Both of them announced their retirement from international cricket around the same time. Suresh Raina thus showed his admiration towards the player by commentingthe word legend. Fans noticed his comments and it has over 31k likes already.
