Team India are in a huge trouble after the loss of the wicket of skipper Virat Kohli quite early in the innings.
Virat Kohli led team India locked horns with Kane Williamson’s New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. Both the teams are coming onto this match after losing their opening fixture against Pakistan. NZ lost their opening encounter by 5 wickets while Ind lost by 10 wickets.

The coin flipped in favor of the Kiwis as they decided to field first. Kohli lost his 2nd consecutive toss in the tournament. Ishan Kishan and Shardul Thakur came on in place of Suryakumar Yadav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Adam Milne came in for Tim Seifert.
India once again had a horrible start to the innings losing Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul within the powerplay overs. Virat Kohli came onto to the crease in the last ball of the powerplay. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were expected to carry on the innings forward and move the scoreboard for the country. ‘Birthday Boy’ Ish Sodhi got his first wicket in his first over by removing Rohit Sharma.
After the dismissal of Rohit, it seemed that India are in the same situation as they were against Pakistan. Virat Kohli was struggling to score runs. In the first ball of the 11th over, Kohli threw his wicket off Ish Sodhi’s delivery. The ‘Birthday Boy’ seemed to have been lucky once again as he got another wicket in his 2nd over. Kohli went on to play a slog sweep off a leggie pitched outside off stump. He top edged the delivery as the ball went on too high in the sky. Boult who was standing on long on takes the catch standing well inside the line. Kohli drops his head and walks off. He managed to score 9 off 17 deliveries.
