Temba Bavuma makes shocking comments on Dewald Brevis – Fans are very angry

South Africa’s brightest young player Dewald Brevis stunned the cricket fans and critics by his fearless approach to the game in the recently-concluded Indian Premier League 15th edition.

Dewald was picked by Mumbai Indians for 3 crore at the mega IPL auction.

The youngster is also the highest run scorer in the ICC 19 World Cup.

The youngster is famously called “Baby AB” because of his similarity in batting style with AB de Villiers’ batting.

He has played seven games for MI and he scored 161 runs at an average of 23 and highest is 49. He smashed 11 sixes and 11 fours to his name in this less run.

Meanwhile, South African Test captain Temba Bavuma made a shocking statement on Dewald Brevis. Everyone was expecting that something good for this youngster would come or he could get a chance in the national team.

The veteran cricketer praised Dewald Brevis for his remarkable performance in IPL. However, at the same time, he added that he won’t be included into the South African cricket team right now and he should play more first class games.

After this, his statement on the uncapped South African youngster went viral.

“Brevis is an exciting prospect and had a good season in the IPL. But you have to understand that he has not played any four-day game or First Class matches in South Africa. He needs to play a few First Class games,” Temba Bavuma said.

“Without First Class experience, it will be unfair to throw him into international cricket. We have to tread carefully and ease him into international cricket,” Bavuma said.
