Captain of Punjab Kings Rahul has scored the fastest half century in the history of the IPL ,he scored 51 runs just in 14 balls against Delhi Capital in Mohali.
The record for fastest fifty in IPL previously was Yusuf Pathan and Sunil Narine.
KL Rahul is brilliant opener India has produced in recent times.
2) Yusuf Pathan
His knock of 72runs just in 15balls which including 7 huge sixes was match winning knock.He is very amazing player to watch when he is in form,his power hitting capability led his team to great memorable victory. During his knock of 72*, Yusuf also managed to break his own record for the fastest fifty in the IPL. He played only 15 balls to score his fifty and chased down the target in 14.2 overs.
3) Sunil Narine
Narine smashed the RCB bowlers all over the park Surprisingly, Narine also equalled the record of Yusuf Pathan for the fastest fifty in the IPL He played only 15 balls to reach his maiden maiden IPL fifty. His blistering knock in the powerplay took away the game and they chased the game just inside 15 overs.

Raina played a blistering knock of 87 runs in 25 balls .
Raina scored 12 fours and one huge sixe, Raina reached his madien fifty just in 16 deliveries. It was tremendous exhibition of stroke making coupled with the great timing and clean hitting of the ball .However, the southpaw’s stay at the crease came to end due to the run-out. Chennai Super Kings fell just short and Punjab made it to finals for the first time in IPL.
5) Chris Gayle
Gayle also scored his fastest fifty in the IPL only in 17 balls to register this landmark. His brillant show gave RCB a huge total and it became the highest team score in history of the IPL. Gayle’s innings ensured that the home team comfortable won the match with a huge 130-run win.
