1. Chris Lynn
The right-handed Australian was famous for his power hitting in the Indian Premier League. The 31-year-old has some memorable knocks for his former franchise KKR. Lynn became famous when he took the extraordinary catch of AB Devilliers standing on the boundary line. Because of that wonderful catch he was picked for the national team however he failed to impress for Australia.
Lynn has played 28 matches in which he scored 875 runs at an average of 35 with a strike rate of 141.13. In 18 t20 matches for Australia he could manage to score 291 runs at an average of 19.4 with a strike rate of 131.67.
2. Dwayne Smith
The right-handed windies player has been sensational in the IPL for several franchises over the years. The 38-year-old is a completely different player when it comes to IPL. But the Barbados player has not impressed much when it comes to playing at the international level. The right-handed opener has staggering numbers when it comes to the richest cricketing t20 league in the world. In 91 IPL matches Smith has scored over 2400 runs at an average of 28 with a staggering strike rate of 135. Dwayne Smith has scored 582 runs in 33 matches in West Indies shirt in t20s.
3. Mohit Sharma
Mohit Sharma was known for his variations (specially the change in pace). He came to light for bowling the crucial overs of the game at deciding moments in the game. Kings XI Punjab for a long time relied on the right-handed bowler to concede less runs and pick wicket. Mohit was renowned for bowling the back of the hand ball. The 30-year-old was picked in the Indian team based on his performances in the Indian Premier League. 4. Albie Morkel
The Proteas all rounder was known for his ability to bat and take wickets in crucial moments of the game. Even after playing 100 matches for his country his performances were not up to the mark.
The 37-year-old played 91 IPL matches where he scored 974 runs at an average of 24 with a strike rate of 142. Morkel was also sensational with the leather as he picked up 85 wickets averaging 27.75.
5. Sohail Tanvir
The left arm Pakistani pacer played in the inaugural season of the IPL. He used to play for Rajasthan Royals and came out to be the best bowler for the Royals. The left arm fast bowler had a unique bowling action. He was selected for the national team but failed to impress there.
In 11 matches he managed to pick up 22 wickets at an average of 12.09 and a great economy-rate of 6.46. Tanvir has a record bowling figure of 6-14 in IPL. Sohail did not shine for Pakistan as he picked up 54 wickets in 57 ODI games.
