IPL 2022, MS Dhoni led CSK take on Rishabh Pant’s DC in the 55th match of ongoing IPL season. DC, winning the toss, decided to bowl first. CSK though having a rough season started off well with the openers back in their original form. CSK batting first put a massive score of 208/6 on board.
Ruturaj Gaikwad played a knock of 41(33) while Devon Conway stole today’s show. The new zealand batsman who is playing his first ever IPL has been in his peak this season. Conway made a destructive 87 off 49 which includes 7 fours and 5 sixes.
Later the finish was made by Shivam Dube and the Finisher MS Dhoni. The skipper came in to bat at no. 5 and started off hitting a six and then a four in Marsh’s over. Dhoni made 21 off just 6 balls with a strike rate of 262.50.
CSK won the match by 91 runs as they bowled out DC for just 117 runs. Devon Conway was awarded the Man of the Match award for his epic knock. CSK is presently in the 8th position in the points table with 8 points.
Fans are delighted to see MSD in this hot form at the eve of his career. Having 2 bad seasons with the bat, Dhoni made an epic comeback this season with his form. Though CSK is having a rough patch this season, MSD continues to win hearts.
