Two Star players of LSG have been fined Heavily after the match against RCB

Apart from losing the close match against Royal Challengers Bangalore last night, Lucknow Super Giants and it’s players also suffered a number of other setbacks last night after the completion of the match. Two star players of the team including their captain KL Rahul were heavily fined after last night’s match and thus is what we shall be talking about in this article. Both of them have been fined 20% of their match fees.

The two players who have fined are KL Rahul and Marcus Stoinis. Both of them were found guilty of breaching ICC’s Level 1 offence. While KL Rahul’s reason has not been specified and we don’t know for sure why he has been penalized, the reason for Marcus Stoinis is clear.

Stoinis was seen having an argument with the on field umpire over a wide ball and some are of the opinion that he even abused the Umpire. His fine is thus very much valid and he himself agreed upon the charges and committed to pay the fine himself.

Lucknow Super Giants are bound to be very dejected after last night’s defeat. They were very close to winning the match but just could not keep up their momentum and messed things up in the end. They lost by a very low margin.
